Paint my Balls

We were in a forest. There were bunkers, stones, wood forts, a river, trees and wet composite leaves beneath my feet.
Such a nice and quiet place it was.
Then the referee took out his mega phone and hollered...
"Attack!!!"
I stood there for a couple of seconds with my mind blank.
Then all my team mates, in a complete army combat uniform, ducked and sprinted forward shooting with their guns.
I was still standing there asking myself if this is for real, when a series of paint balls went whizzing past by me.
"Oh shit." I muttered behind my mask and duck behind an eight uprighted plank of wood that stand as a wall.
So I was just squatting there with mom on my right. Since I can't shoot with both of my sides occupied because it can't peek around the corner of the made-up wall, I just squatted there and chatted with mom while paints went splattering the wall we were hiding in. The guy on my right was shooting like crazy at the other team. Later I hear Tito saying he was hit. I watched him put up his gun and walked out of the arena. I still just sat there until Forest was hit too. Then mom.
Then someone from the fort shouted that someone was coming from the right. I said okay I heard him. Then someone from our team ran towards me and took mom's place and just lied down on the mud and started shooting.
Later on he got hit.
And I was still squatting there.
And the referee was looking at me.
Later the guy on my left got hit too.
So I was alone on that wall. Then I saw two guys coming from the right field again. I warned my teammates. The kid hidding behind a dead pile of twigs started shooting at them. Since I can't do anything, I just squatted to the end of the wall and kept a lookout.
Later the kid behind the big pile of twigs asked me if I have an eights.
I was like, "Eights?" What the hell is an eight?
Then suddenly some big guy from my right appeared and started shouting at me, "Surrender!Surrender!"
And I just bowed my head in disgust while I could hear mom shouting from beyond the green line, "Don't surrender! Remember the Alamo!!!"
I raised my gun and walked out of the field before we heard the whistle saying that the time ran out.
Mom and Forest were waiting for me in the deadzone.
"You got hit?" Mom asked.
"No, I surrendered. I didn't even shoot." I answered while putting my barrel cap on my gun.
I was the cleaniest one to get out of the field.

After lunch break the referee called out again that the games will be starting in a couple of minutes. So I got my paint-free vest and put it over my fatigue uniform. Tied a bandana unto my head including my ears so there won't be anything snagging my new pierced ear. Attached my reserved belt consisting of three canister full of paintball ammos, took my gun and helmet and went in line on the Red Team.

Where mom got friendly with some Chineses. There were twenty of them and most of them were guys. One of the guy intoduced himself too and we had a long chat with him. He's cute. We even shaked hands while looking at each other's eye.
But I forgot his name.
They rented the private field, where when you hear them screaming at each other in chinese you've think it was WWII again.

The next game was called Capture The Flag, which Forest got to be the flag carier. The flag was stuck unto his back. So he and Tito went towards the forest to head over the Blue Team's fort.
One third of our team stayed at the fort. Mom stayed inside the fort. I chose to crouch behind a wall, for me to have a better space to manuever. Later we heard fireshots. It was like real war in the field. And the shoutings, the gunshots... the panic, bedlam. You can easily imagine what's happening.
Later we heard the whistle and the referee's speaking in the microphone telling us that the round was over and it was a tie.

Then after that we had the Plant the Bomb game. Forest being the smallest one on the group was again the bomb carrier. It was again a tie. And I sat in a compost while being rained by paint from all sides. My shoes won't be the same again. Ever.

The last game that I joined was capture the base, where our team will be on the defensive and the other team while try and get to our base. This is where I started shooting like crazy, until a ball went splat into the wall I was hiding in and into my helmet too.
I was out. So I held up my gun and walk down the hill. Then in the middle of the forest while walking towards the exit, I felt a sting on the back of my left arm.
"Hey! I'm out!" I shouted.
"Hey she's out." yelled the referee.
Fucking bastard, my mind screamed. Obscenities were rolling in my head while I kept on walking.
Mom was waiting for me near the entrance.
"You got hit?" she asked.
"Yeah. In the face. But when I was already out some dumb guy shot me in the arm."
"Does it hurt?" she asked.
"Fuck. Like a bitch in heat!" I bit off.
And then when we were walking the rest of the way, I was behind mom when she cursed.
"Someone is shooting me in the bum. It could be your Tito." she was annoyed by the joke.
"He can't be that immature. I think it's Forest." I argued while walking the rest of the way.
"When we got at our table Tito and Forest where already there.
Mom and I just looked at each other. And said nothing about it.

Then when we got home they were horrified by my bruises I attained from paintball. Even people when I go shopping stares at my bruises. It was big and nasty.
It was so nasty that Tito said he'll buy me a complete uniform. And it will be a special uniform. One made for a girl.
Couple of days later, I got the uniform. It's a Army combat uniform but in a different pattern. I said it was cool.
Until I saw the flag on the side arm.
"Great." I muttured, " I'm dead. All Nazi-hating-American on the field will try to kill me."
